So, here's the deal....

Even as a child, I wanted to be a writer and inspire others to achieve their dreams when they didn't feel like they could. Why? Because I know what it's like to be told that your dreams "aren't realistic". Yet, I still wanted to write something that would be on bookstore shelves or create inspiration from my own column in a magazine. I also know just how much our stories save lives. It was books that helped me get through the chaos inside my head as I struggled to survive mental illness.

As a self-published author working multiple jobs to make ends meet, I need every bit of help I can get to make this dream a reality — but it's not why I write. Although I dream of getting to write full time and support myself with my writing, I don't write for money. I write because I have stories to share that help remind people there's still good in the world, despite all the evil. Even in the afterlife.

However, publishing comes with expenses that need to be covered. These expenses include distribution, printing, internet, electricity, computers, software, and more. Below is my affiliate and sponsorship policy:

I will never promote items or services I don't like or use. I take giving my word very seriously, and I will never blindly offer you something that I don't support or use myself. So, know that if I mention it, it's because I love it, think you will get value from it, or know we both can't live without it! Your trust means the world to me, which is why I am so careful with what I put my backing behind and would never blindly tell you to get something just for the sake of making a quick penny.
I chose the affiliate programs because they provide reliable products and services I already use and love. Even if it doesn't have an affiliate program, I use it because it improves my life. Period. If you see me recommending a product/service, it's because I already use it myself or really want to because I have hijacked it from a friend and am just waiting to have the money to get it myself. (Ssshhh, don't tell.) The affiliate program was an afterthought in order to help me with my publishing costs as I continue to create things you love.
